The real thing

This is the pusher for the Vitamix blender. It is identical to the one that came originally with the Vitamix. Our Vitamix is used by many volunteer cooks whose skills vary. If you push down hard on the tamper, the end can be shredded by the blade. Use reasonable pressure.

Will it blend? Probably!

This blender is pretty darn amazing. However, it was not as all powerful as I had expected after reading others’ reviews — be sure to place the more liquidy/easily blendable things into the Vitamix first and you’ll be good to go.

Also, this product comes WITH the Vitamix tamper — you don’t have to buy one separately, which I was not aware of.

Essential to Vitamix Blender peak performance

I had my Vitamix blender for almost a year, before I realized that this tool existed. Once I purchased it – all become clear – this tool is essential to the peak performance of using this type of powerful blender. I use my Vitamix for smoothies, soups, sauces, drinks — and it is a significantly easier and faster process now that I have added the tamper tool. I find that I am making many more healthy foods/drinks with expert results!
