Useful gadget for coffee lovers

I like how this is a dual purpose gadget. The scoop’s clip helps keeps the bag closed, and by mounting the scoop to the bag, it reduces clutter on the counter. A win-win. Cleans up easily.

Perfect coffee spoon!

Yep. It’s a spoon. Measures the coffee well. But, wait! It’s also a clip to keep your coffee bag closed and fresh!

I hated that my coffee bag would not stay closed, even with new tape every day! Grr…. Now the bag stays closed and I have a nice little spoon to measure my coffee.

French Flare all the way!

I’m so impressed and delighted with this french fry holder. I didn’t expect it to be such great quality but it is. Very sturdy and makes a wonderful talk piece as well.

Don’t stop at french fries. Try adding tempura and fresh vegetables such as carrots, celery etc…Loved it so much, I bought 2 more!

Beautiful Drinkware Set

Dear Amazonians,

When I was shopping for amenities for my new home, I came across this set at Bloomindale’s. I was drawn to the sleek beauty of these glasses, as well as their heavy and rugged design. Recently, when I went out to a bar located at a high-end hotel in the city, I noticed that even they used Galassia drinkware. A good sign!

I would highly recommed this set, even for home use, as it provides a sleek, sexy look to any table setting. Guests will be impressed, as many house guests of mine have commented on my drinkware.

A note for Amazon: I have been contacting customer service for about 2 years regarding the often shoddy packaging that these glasses arrive in. I have received more than a few sets of shattered glasses. When you send fragile items to your customers, you need to use the proper packaging materials, key word: bubble-wrap. This will save you a lot of time and money. I cannot emphasize this to you enough. I realize that this comment is not directed at the quality of the item that I am reviewing, but it is important for me to be able to share this with other shoppers on the site, so that Amazon can improve its level of service, and so that other customers can have comfort in knowing that they are not the only people who are experiencing trouble when ordering fragile items on the site.

Nice Glasses

I really like these glasses. They are pretty and functional. The reason I did not rate them five stars is because they are extremely slippery and hard to hold on to when wet. They have to be loaded into the dishwasher very carefully. Also, they are a little narrower at the top than I would like them to be. This makes them unstable when you turn them upside down in the dishwasher.

If you like crisp pizza crust, you have to bake your pizza directly on the oven rack. Getting it in and out without burning yourself is the trick. Totally Bamboo has the perfective solution. Great Pizza Peel

I just discovered the pizza peel. This is a good size board. I roll my pizza dough on it, then slide it onto the stone in the oven. It’s also easy to slide the pizza back out when it’s done. I cut and serve it right on the board.

Poor Quality

When I first ordered this item it came in a very timely manner from Amazon but when I opened the box there was a large crack/split running down the middle of the peel. My first thought was no big deal, it was very easy to repackage and exchange through amazon at no charge to me (very easy process), and they had a new one shipped to me less than a week later. I opened the new peel today and although there are no major breaks in it the quality seems very poor! I understand that it is only a 25 dollar item but the peel felt and looked like it would fall apart. There are gaps and chips all over it and what appears to be old cracks that have been glued back together. In some areas the edged are rough and splintery, with the occasional patch of residual glue that was not removed. I thought the first peel was a fluke, but after two lemons I am returning for a refund (shipping charges are your responsability) and would reccommend looking at other options.

This Might Be the Best Peel on Amazon

This is a great peel. It is thinner than most of the wooden peels I have used in the past, which makes it easier to handle when pulling a pizza from the oven. It is bamboo, which is a plus from the renewable resources point of view. I have used it for a couple of weeks now and really like it. The only complaint I can muster is the edges could use a little more sanding, but I can certainly live with that.

Great spice tray

The only thing bad about this item is that it arrived bent. The inner lid is oval instead of round and you have to jam it in to get it to fit. But over time that should fix itself. Otherwise, it’s a darling little piece of India in my kitchen, and I have it filled with several spices I use often for Indian cooking, like fennel, mustard seeds, cumin, cayenne and coriander. My only other comment is I wish it was bigger, or that I had bought two.

Cheap and functional

I purchased two of these racks at about $44 each including shipping. It was fairly easy to assemble and seems to work well for what it is.
You are not going to want to use this as a display rack. The wood is cheap and so is the finish.
It is great for out of site storing such as basements or under stairs.
I did have some problems with one of the racks, hence the 3 stars. It was missing a screw and one of the removable racks was falling apart. I just used one of my own screws and some wood glue to fix it up.
It will not hold small bottles like ice wine but so far everything else I have seems to fit fine.
If you need something that is going to be out in the open I would highly recommend you spend the extra money for a nicer wine rack. This is definitely a budget one.

Don’t waste your money

This wine rack, made in China, is almost too crappy for words. To assemble it, you must use the supplied Allen wrench to twist screws into threaded nuts. On the rack I received, two of the screws could not be threaded into nuts. Therefore, the kit could not be assembled. However, I cracked two of the unbelievably flimsy pieces in the attempt. Even if the rack could be assembled perfectly, the stain looked like it was applied with a trowel. In some places it was thick and gloppy, in others thin, barely covering the cheap wood. For $56 dollars, you could do a lot better. Oh, and when I called the company I purchased it from to complain, they didn’t even want the wine rack back. They just said to toss it. That I received an immediate refund was the best part of this sorry episode.

The materials used were unbelieveably flimsy. As I was putting together pieces actually broke off. Will do the job in the short term but cant really see this product lasting long term. I am wary to fill it full as it might break under the pressure…

This stemware rack is sturdy with a consistent ‘oil-rubbed’ finish. However, the cross-head mounting screws provided were of nickel and clumsily painted black. This paint flaked off immediately upon contact with the screwdriver, leaving a distracting contrast to the oil-rubbed bronze rack. If the manufacturer could correct this minor problem than five stars would be earned. It does, however, hold wine glasses quite well.

Beautiful but heavy!

I bought two of these to hang wine glasses from in my RV. Unfortunately, I forgot that the cabinets in my rig have pretty flimsy, thin bottoms. I quickly realized that even one rack would probably pull the cabinet bottom right off. So, I had to return the racks. However, if I had a house, with real wood cabinets, I would definitely have kept these racks. They are exceptionally well-made and the finish on them is really nice. Just remember–they are heavy, very heavy.
